I was there as an observer of street scenes in one of the world’ s most photographed cities.
During my walks, when I tried to capture moments in the urban landscape, I asked myself what had happened 

during the two decades. What I found was a sort of familiar reunion, as if nothing had
happened ; a standstill. An omnipresent waiting.
