Work in progress

In the work Domicile I have returned to the coastal town of Falkenberg and photographed the residential area Kristineslätt, where I lived my first ten years 1966-76.

During the 1960s, almost 100 similar villas were built on land that had previously been an open farmland. From the outset, the idea was to protect the unity of the houses, the vision of equality and community of time. Over the years, the owners have converted the buildings to their own wishes, the exterior has changed as society has been individualized.

The photographs are taken 2006-2016 and will be published in a photo book.
